The Company:

One of our most popular North East clients are currently looking for Qualified Social Workers to start exciting and opportunistic projects in the Stockton area. This is a company who are involved across the North East area with Social Care and are interested in taking on a number of candidates in this sector.

The Person & Job:

This is a position for either a Qualified Social Worker with either a proven background within Childcare and Social Care or have a GSCC Registration and the ability to walk in to Social Work positions with ease and independence. It would be a strong advantage for the right candidate to have a proven background and record of successfully managing Child in Need and Child protection cases, alongside having a knowledge of the Integrated Childrens system.

Candidates are required to provide appropriate ongoing support to young people and/or the elderly as well as their families as the key worker. Alongside being capable of offering advice to other team members and professionals, therefore having a sense of responsibility and independence. It is essential candidates have a strong customer service skill and confidence in Social Care scenarios and tasks.

It is vital for the correct candidate to hold a current (within 12 months) CRB Enhanced Disclosure for this position, due to that nature of looking after vulnerable adults or children.
