Job Description

This multi award winning establishment is seeking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef looking to develop their career further. The position would suit someone striving to achieve the next level.

Duties of this Sous Chef position will include:

  • Ensuring standards are maintained and bettered at all times
  • Motivating and leading the brigade to achieve excellent results
  • Developing dishes and menu ideas
  • Supporting the head and with ordering, stock control, GPs, costing when required to do so
  • Training, coaching and supporting the brigade
  • Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to at all times
  • Maintaining the high standards of the establishment and working to enhance the restaurants reputation
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the sections and kitchen overall
  • Motivating and coaching brigade
  • Supporting the kitchen management team in achieving section gross profit and department budget achievement
  • Stock control

Candidates for this position must have experience in a minimum of 2 rosette establishment and in a similar role. You will have the flare and creativity to take the business forward. You must have a real passion for quality and take pride in your work.
