Job Description

This 4 star hotel would like to appoint an experienced Chef de Partie with excellent all round skills and knowledge.

Situated in County Durham nestled on the banks of the river Wear, this beautiful hotel requires a Chef de Partie to join their established brigade. The hotel has two restaurants, the main restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere offering a full a la carte menu which is traditional in style, with influences from around the world, the food and service has gained a AA Rosette. The hotel also offers a brasserie style café, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a room service menu is also available. First class C & B facilities which are particularly popular with wedding parties are catered for through a separate kitchen and team.

You will be working across all sections, assisting the Senior Chefs in all aspects of the successful running of the busy kitchen on a day to day basis. It is therefore essential that all applicants are experienced within a similar quality, multi outlet establishment. Candidates would ideally have a Rosette background.

Qualifications/Experience required: Previous experience at CDP or sous chef level using fresh produce and producing consistent quality is essential All applicants should have NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent and Hygiene certificate essential.
