ECandI Specialist Engineer
Engineering and Maintenance Department
PURPOSE OF ROLE
This role is primarily a Technical role including reactive and pro-active engineering application.

You will be involved in all aspects of engineering and maintenance activities on a day to day and strategic level.

DUTIES INCLUDE
To contribute to the development and leadership of delivery of the TPS ECandI philosophy including the operational strategy and overall performance measures.
Support and contribute to the planning and management of day-to-day and longer-term ECandI Engineering and Maintenance strategies.
Take an active, SHE and commercial focus in leading and supporting the ECandI outage planning and preparation. This is with both other TPS Departments and Outage Contract Managers and Alliance Partners.
Ensure a balance between outage and running plant requirements is delivered.
To champion continuous improvements.
Ensure assigned ECandI contracts operate within agreed budgetary requirements, taking action to reduce costs and overall risk levels.
Deputise for direct line manager, carrying out assigned responsibilities.
Establish strong, effective relationships with all management members of the Electrical and Maintenance Department and its key customers - internal and external.
