A Turnkey Engineering provider who have expanded year on year are recruiting for an experienced Technical Administration Clerk for this permanent role.
As a Document Controller you will:
Provide document control measures, stock control for Goods Inwards/ Product Out including the update of the Material Register. Create/ maintain Job Packs. Initiate and maintain Job Files (hard & electronic copies).Collate and store all information (email/fax/minutes/telecom/notes) received against the relevant job number in the correct filing system.
A significant part of this role will include liaison with clients and suppliers.
H&S Documentation QMS documentation Employee training/ qualification database
This is a challenging and demanding role and requires the individual to have a comprehensive knowledge of Document Control procedures and the ability to prioritise workloads within a QMS operating environment.
You will need to possess excellent communication and persuasion skills as well as being computer literate in order to collate, control, distribute and store the required QMS information.
You will need experience within a document control environment, be comfortable with data manipulation, spreadsheets and also the MS/MSOffice operating system and its applications. In addition you will need to be self-motivated, able manage your workload as well as work independently, as well as being an active a team member.
It is preferable that you have a proven background in an Engineering or similar industry, experience of working to ISO9001 standards and AutoCAD experience.
