The largest privately-owned company in their sector with a site based in the North East of England are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in North Yorkshire.
An attractive starting salary of between £25,000- £30,000 per annum depending upon experience along with a shift premium of 17%.

In this role you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of food processing equipment including:
Input to the upkeep of a Maintenance Plan of Work for the plant
Undertake planned and preventative maintenance activities
Attending and resolving breakdowns
Contribute towards system / process improvements
Maintain and repair air-conditioning and extraction systems
Administer the purchasing and stock control of engineering parts/ spares etc
Ccasionally your duties will include:
Assist with the installation and commissioning of equipment as well as undertake minor buildings maintenance when required
You will need to hold a relevant engineering qualification along with previous experience as an Electrical or Maintenance Engineer who has worked within the food processing industry, experience of servicing and repair of electrical and mechanical systems equipment.
Knowledge of PLC fault finding and maintenance – PLC programming knowledge would be an advantage. Building maintenance experience useful but not essential.
Experience of installation and commissioning projects is desirable.
