| Job Summary: We have an opportunity for a Machinist based in the heavy engineering industry operating heavy manual machines. The client is a quarrying company; who have a specialist machining and repair service and also supply ground-engaging tools. They are based in Teesside and are looking to employ an enthusiastic, hard working machinist to build their existing team. This position is a full time permanent position and would be working conventional daily hours. The person that will be suitable for this position must have experience in a heavy engineering environment. Essential Skills - Must have experience operating the following manual machines; - Mid to large centre lathes - Bed type milling machines - Vertical and horizontal borers. - They must also be able to read and understand drawing - Must be able to carry out inspection of all their own work. - Have experience working within a heavy engineering industry - Relevant apprenticeship/qualification |
