Sales Engineer
Salary Up to £28,000
Our client, an established and successful manufacturer working with a number of prestigious national and international clients, and due to continued growth they are seeking to appoint a Sales Engineer.
The role will involve working as part of a successful commercial, technical and operations team
and will be based from head-office in Aycliffe.
Key objectives:
• Source new customers and applications.
• Secure new opportunities and business from existing customers.
• Prepare professional bids and tenders for major opportunities.
• Project manage (commercially) new contracts and opportunities through to order
• acceptance.
• Maintain contact with existing and potential customers
• Provide engineering support
• Work as part of a focused new business team and assist by looking at new markets and
• materials for the business.
• Attend a weekly sales and marketing meeting with updates on new opportunities and
• customers
• Support operations and the technical/development team visiting existing customers as
• required.
Key Qualities:
• Qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Proven track record in securing new business, ideally in engineering business
• Results and target driven with ability to work individually or as part of a team.
• Competent using Microsoft Office.
